Film work photographed on our own installations

Three pieces of Premier Surface Protection work, shown as they were photographed on site, alongside the method behind them. Where a photograph shows a setting rather than our installation, it is captioned as illustrative.

Yacht topside paint protection film

Marine · South Florida

Clear film worked across a black gloss topside with slip solution, squeegeed out from the centre so the panel finishes flat and edge-free against the teak. Dark gloss is the least forgiving surface for film: every trapped particle and stretched edge shows.

Stone island surface protection

Architectural · Residential kitchen

Premier Surface Protection installing countertop surface film on a veined stone island.

A full-slab island filmed in one piece. The film is floated onto the wet slab, aligned to the slab edge, then worked out to the perimeter and trimmed along the profile so the arris stays crisp and the veining reads exactly as it did before.

XPEL Ultimate Plus resists staining and etching from wine, citrus and cleaning products, is anti-microbial, and enhances the finish of the stone underneath.

Stone bar protection, photographed in the field

Architectural · Countertop surface film

Clear protection film is positioned over the stone, worked flat without disturbing the surface character, then finished precisely at the profile. These photographs document the installation and completed surface from the same Premier project.

Curved bar top, private residence

Architectural · Stone bar

A curved bar top in a private residence, filmed in place under chandelier light. Curved runs are the hardest stone work to film: the material has to be relaxed into the sweep without stretch marks, and the trim has to follow a radius by eye.

Method

Every project is quoted from the surface, not from a price list

Two yachts of the same length can need very different film packages, and two apartments on the same floor can need different window film. Finish condition, exposure, access, glazing type and how the space is used all change the answer. That is why we assess first and quote second, and why we do not publish package pricing.

01

Consultation

A conversation about the vessel or property, what is bothering you, and what the surface needs to survive. Appointment only, by phone or on site.

02

Assessment

We inspect the actual surfaces — finish condition, glazing type, edges, access, and anything that will complicate installation.

03

Written scope

Each area named, film specified, sequence and schedule set out, and the applicable warranty stated in writing. Our marine surface protection carries a three-year warranty.

04

Preparation and installation

Decontamination and cleaning first; then film cut and fitted panel by panel or pane by pane, with the surrounding area protected.

05

Handover

A walkthrough of the finished work with you, your captain or your facilities team, plus written care guidance for the film installed.

Standards

What we will not do

  • Quote a price before we have seen the surface or detailed photographs and measurements.
  • Promise performance figures that depend on film and glass we have not yet specified.
  • Present other people's work, or generic imagery, as our completed projects.
  • Install over a surface that is not sound enough for film to perform on.

Private assessment

Every surface is quoted in person

We look at the vessel, the glass or the stone before we discuss scope. Call the studio or send project details and we will arrange an appointment in Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach County.
